Participants will work on practical skills including:

• Building a strategic communications plan and team
• Tips for planning, public speaking and news interviews
• Rapid-response scenarios and on-camera training
• Relevant recent developments in AI

Workshop participants are encouraged to be prepared to discuss their local’s recent communications challenges, whether resolved or pending. On-camera exercises will help turn practical situations into clearer messages and more effective communications plans.

Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days at the L-440 hall at 3855 Tulsa Way, 76107. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop.
