Texas and Oklahoma firefighter leaders convened for the 2025 Sandy McGhee Union Leadership Conference in Wichita Falls. The TSAFF-PFFO event focused on leadership trends and further strengthening service to more than 31,000 professional firefighter members in both states.

Many thanks to IAFF 11th District Vice President Emeritus Sandy McGhee for moderating a leadership panel, to our sponsors and to the Wichita Falls Professional Firefighters L-432 for hosting the event.

Sessions included Union History, Municipal Financial Analysis and Negotiations, Creative Comparisons for Collective Bargaining, Understanding Union Leadership, and a panel that covered developments in the fire service in Oklahoma and Texas.
