Our 49th Biennial Convention adjourned on July 17 in The Woodlands after delegate action on more than two dozen resolutions, along with reports and presentations from TSAFF executive board members, appointees, staff and delegates, convention committee leaders, sponsors and guests, and elections. Elected were: President John Riddle, 1st District Vice President Bobby Whiteley, 3rd DVP Aidan Alvarado, 5th DVP Daniel Rozier, Trustee, Zone A Joseph Wallace, Trustee, Zone C Mike Silva, Texas Fire Fighters Emergency Relief and Scholarship Fund, Director at Large Tanner Schlottman, Texas Fire Fighters Emergency Relief and Scholarship Fund, Zone A Zac Shaffer. DVP 6 Marty Lancton is endorsed for AFL-CIO vice president. The winning bid to host the 2027 TSAFF convention was won by Laredo Firefighters, L-872. Congratulations to all!
